The nine video clips average 6.5 mins; being aware that Challenging GB aim to work with and assist 1,000,000 YoungGB and 100,000 British Businesses in quick order, and many, many more thereafter, it is hoped that you find the clips worthy of your time to peruse.
All the videos were scripted and narrated personally by the Founder of Challenging GB, along with the content of this page.  The intent being, that as you sit back and view the clips, if what you see and hear registers as that of a kindred spirit and fellow traveler, then you can have have total confidence that you have grasped the ethos and mantra of Challenging GB – because every aspect of this multi-million pound endeavour was designed and developed personally by the Founder.  Conversely, if for any reason you do not gel with the objectives or personal approach thereto, please, for everyone’s sake, do not apply for the position advertised – life is far too short and this project far too important for that time to be wasted.  However, assuming that you do share the Founder’s passion to see GB Take off Again, you are cordially offered the very warmest of welcomes to apply to join our team!  Come and have some fun!

Application Procedure:

Challenging GB regard every employee as being an Ambassador for the Challenge, irrespective of their role.  Consequently it will fall upon all applicants to offer comfort to Challenging GB as to how they intend presenting and conducting themselves, when meeting members of the public, business contacts or fellow team members.

Thus the first step in making an application (in addition to furnishing a c.v. and any associated employment agency form) is tackle the ‘Presentation Challenge.’  The words smiths out there may choose to do so on paper, but the option exists to make a short video presentation (around the 60 seconds mark) via smart phone.

Please note, such a video must NOT be professionally produced or even edited in any way.  The suggested format will see you walking toward the phone, introducing yourself as you would to a stranger, and delivering a brief resume on your personality, skills and experience.  If you choose to do so, you could ask a friend to handle the phone for your Film Debut, but you are more than welcome to perch the phone on a table or shelf and simply set it running.  Naturally that will mean that the first few seconds of the video will be of you beating a hasty retreat from the phone, only to spin round and march toward it.  If this causes embarrassment to you, hard luck, you can always console yourself with the thought that you have given Challenging GB a darned good laugh!!!

The ONLY person to be spared the ‘Presentation Challenge’ is the Founder, but you can be sure that he has suffered enough already!

One can only assume that for department employees to learn that their immediate boss undertook the same challenge with good grace would result in the team camaraderie the Challenge is determined to generate.

Videos should be sent via WhatsApp to 44 79 33 00 7000 along with the applicant’s name and the position being applied for.

And after all… if you want The Best Job in the World!!!

All applications will be reviewed as quickly as possible and successful candidates will be sent a link to enable them to see all nine of the video clips previously referred to.  Having had unrestricted access to every aspect of the Challenge, the applicants will be asked to complete an official application form, together with writing a two part resume on… (1) their skills and experience as applicable to the specific requirements of the role as then gleaned from the clips etc.
(2) The applicant’s personal appraisal of the the Challenge as a whole and why they desperately want to be part of the venture.

Candidates continuing in the process will likely be invited to attend a one to one Zoom Session, and subject thereto, invited to a face to face meeting.
